If a striker gets no service..

he will look sh*t whatever his talent. Southampton were REALLY awful throughout that day so it seems a bit harsh to judge him on that alone.
He's looked lively enough in the 2 games I've seen in the last week, given limited opportunities. Nothing to suggest he was any worse than teh likes of Teddy F***ing Sheringham, and that being teh case I'd rather have the future in the squad rather than the past (obviously I'd prefer the present, but I'm not convinced either of them fit into that category)
