Yes Nunez dropped deep at times to pick the ball up but the basic shape was 4-4-2

It works better with Kenny at CB because he can pass it out better but also carry it forward into midfield to create overloads.

It’s fine against teams we are better than at home but, for example, in the playoffs I don’t think we could get away with it in the away leg as it dies still leave us quite open at times.

The good thing is we do have options and Wagner has shown willingness to switch formations in recent games which is a positive development.
