Did Gerrard really dive?

Granted there was no contact but the bloke lunged in and I think Gerrard was expecting there to be contact so instinctively pulled his leg out of the way. If he hadn't the bloke would definitely have taken him out.

A bit different to Eboue's blatant dive in the Champion's League final.
