There was a 'grand plan' Webber consistently said he had for managers, and then we got a year of Smith, and then a man who had failed pretty much everywhere after his stint at Huddersfield, seemingly because Webber had run out of ideas.

Its a bit different to targeting an up and coming coach, very highly rated if all accounts are true, that the SD is aware of and worked with, no? Surely you can see that?
