maybe you and the pinkun guys et al are doing him a favour?

he seems to be responding to "the noise/negativity" by creating a siege mentality which could pay a "we'll f**king show 'em" dividend and this in turn makes the group more cohesive and stronger. if it is this then it's not a bad strategy coming into the business end of the season.
