I think all clubs do

Had a look over at TWTD the other day and there was a kerfuffle about one of the posters being called out by one of the players family for relentlessly negative stuff. Sounds like, at some point, threats towards someone's family were made.

Even more alarmingly, there were the. A flurry of posts saying that they'd had weird stalker ish behaviour from other posters or fans.

WTF.

In my opinion, it's reflective of a society in which everyone has a broader platform to air their views (regardless) on social media, and in which there's little in the way of checks and balances and people aren't held to account for any damage caused (eg. 5G phone mast conspiracies and consequent vandalism).

Would you say those things to a person's face? Would you say it in the same way?

There'll have to be a swing of the pendulum back on this stuff at some point. But at the moment it's just depressing.
