The expectations around Knapper and an immediate 'fix' are ridiculous

He has come in on the back of being an integral part of the Arsenal resurgence and that has obviously taken a while to engineer.
He could of sacked Wagner immediately, but it looks to me as if he has busily been assessing how the club is run and what good things can be kept.
I'm as frustrated as anybody with some of the performances and decision-making behind them, but I'm a fan and not an expert.
It seems clear that Wagner will be kept until at least the summer, but that to publicly state that would ironically undermine him to a degree, as it would highlight the consideration for sacking him.
I'm going to assume Knapper knows what he is doing and I'm already far more comfortable with his communication style over Webber.
I sense it's going to take Knapper to win the complete trust of the current owners (in the same way that Webber had) before the thorny issue of who manages us next season can be discuseed.
In the meantime my own focus will be on supporting the existing manager and squad.
Failure to reach the play-offs would change all that as I believe that even with the injuries we have had the chance to bag enough points to be at least where WBA currently are, if not Leeds or Southampton.
Another huge game for the club that we all support on Saturday. Lets not let differences of opinion cloud what could be an exciting climax to the campaign.
