But i can guess the reason was he was injured for a big chuck of the season, he was played on the wing where Worthy has shown players have to concentrate on "defence first" when Huckerby was on the other wing, (Also see Jonson who clearly has the potential to be a good player but is played out of position), and as i already said, it was his first ever season playing professionally.

Add to that games where he set up 3 goals in a game, (Bolton) or completely changed games, (Man U at home) or helped revive our season (after Man U at home) and i think i can say he was a very useful player that i would be very happy to have next season.
