well, yep. Most other sports acknowledge the margin of error

and set their rules around that.

Calibrate the tech to that (& stick with the on field decision unless the tech flags it wrong) - super speedy results.

The tech is to avoid howlers - if it needs more than 10 seconds to decide then stick with the on field decision (and, as outlined below, articulate clearly what is in scope).

Not sure that it's foxes and hen houses - but there is incompetence & I suspect too much invested in the tech (reputationally) to be comfy acknowledging it's limitations
