They've clearly been massively "creative" in trying to spend a s**t tonne on players while getting around FFP by giving everyone incredibly long contracts. Which is all fine, if the players you brought in are actually good, perform, develop into an excellent team that gets you results on the pitch (and the extra money that brings) and/or develop into really attractive sellable assets to eventually cover all those costs.
Of the players they brought in, who do we think they could currently sell at a profit? Is there a danger they get stuck with (relatively speaking) with a load of duds that they can't shift on very long term contracts, with no financial capacity to reinforce, and slowly declining results and constant danger of tripping over FFP? Would be highly amusing all around if they imploded!
