Drinks prices on night's out. Are they pretty bad where you are?

I don't go out that much. I do a quiz once a week but have been used to it being a 60% student 40% over 30 demographic. Drinks on that night are cheap at £3.50.

If I go anywhere else it's probably Wetherspoons.

I did however go out on a leaving do round town and the lowest pint I had was £5.50. One pint somewhere was £6.40 (Madrid).

Then I hear peeps talking about £15 cocktails.

So last Sunday going to a Women's footer match and then 4-5 pints round town cost me about £80.

Is this the norm now if you wanna go out on a weekend?
