Wagner no longer has aarons, pukki, omabamidele. But he also deliberately didnt look for dcm in summer. And seems very poor at addressing how to play out from the back. he is getting bailed out by some sensational goals from Rowe, Sainz etc, but there is little flow and tacticial mastery on show.
I thought he had some amazing new strategy for a while, but it was bollox in the end. you need to have your defenders playing confidently from the back to what is a really good frontiline which most champs teams would give their eye teeth for. But he cant do it.
Wouldnt swap rowe, sainz, sara or our fullbacks for any in this division. But he's not making the most of them.
