Hes never been consistant for us. I dont buy the argument that a lack of loan stunted his development. Aarons, Omabamdele, Rowe etc slot into the first team without a loan. Idah is nearly 23 - if he hasnt developed his first touch by now I dont know when he will.

If its a 2.5m fee, that may seem low (assuming that is accurate), but getting him off the wage bill with his silly long contract is proabably worth more to the club. I also think they wouldnt take up the option of purchasing im after half a season.

All that being said, hope he smashes a hat trick for us next game and becomes our number 9 for years to come
