Ah - 1987.... Lived in S/W London. Woken at 2.30am to be told an oak tree was....

leaning on my car.... A Triumph Spitfire Soft Top. Got in and revved the Engine. So So glad it fired right away and I could move the car. The tree actually didn't fall but myself and housemates (I was a lad about town then) stayed outside. We had to hold into railings just to stand up and watched trees fall and slates shear off roofs. Until the power was cut and you could no longer see them. Then we went in....
