It’s sensible timing to squeeze in a midweek game

We have the option to rotate players against Liverpool on what is essentially a meaningless match.

Whereas if it had been put in more or less any other midweek slot, we would have followed it up with a league game.

I’m slightly worried what lineup might turnout v Liverpool mind.
