Team news ahead of WBA:

On a quick turnaround from last night's game against Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup:

"Obviously it was quite late back (3am). We were in at 1pm today. We've shortly spoken about it, in-ball possession we made a step in the right direction."

"Jacob Sørensen played well and is in squad contention now. It's like having a new signing, but fitness wise he is not at the top, top level but he will get there."

"Sam (McCallum) needed 30 mins to groove into the game but afterwards he was fantastic. He made offensive contributions and defensively was very reliable. He is in good form."

"We picked players who are in good shape and we got positive impact from the bench also."

Giving an update on squad fitness:

"Grant Hanley is back in with the fitness guys; he started with them on the grass. He is expected back in training next week and we will try not to break him again."

"Danny Batth will not be available for Saturday, Dimitris Giannoulis we will see."

"Marcelino (Núñez) to be honest the Hull game was the less good game in recent weeks that he had but what was great was the way he responded yesterday."

Speaking about Christian Fassnacht, Wagner said:

"You felt in the last couple of weeks in training everything felt much more reliable and very good."

"Because of the competitors he has in his position, he has been limited on game time. He is one of the big impact players we have at the minute."

Wagner gave his verdict on this weekend's opposition, West Bromwich Albion:

"West Brom is a tough side and are in the play-off spot for a reason. Like every team they have areas where they are vulnerable as well and hopefully we can exploit them."

"We will do everything we can to be successful and penetrate deeply."
