Obviously the dictionary definition is clear but an away match would normally imply the opposition were at home.

However, if Wembley counts then it has to be 1985 (I was at both 1985 and 2015) but '85 was our first win so must be that.

Equally, in answer to worst away defeat, if Wembley is being allowed I would now have to say 1975 in the League Cup Final to Villa. It was our 2nd defeat in the final in 3 seasons (as a young teenager I was at '73 as well) but probably the more disappointing as we just never really showed up.
