It’s a good point

I don’t think results are the reason to fire wagner, the reason would be if we don’t think he’s the best coach long term. The current squad has limitations that need addressing, I think we all agree on that.

Say those were addressed though and we had a very well balanced midfield, for ease of argument, we had the city squad Alex Neil inherited, would wagner be the best person to take it forward? Or the squad Farke had at the start of the 18/19 season?

Dunno, maybe he could have matched Alex Neil, doubt many could match farke, partly though because that squad was just so perfectly suited to his playing style.

It’s not a simple decision. The major problem is that fans have already decided that he should go, and at the first sniff of a poor performance he feels the full brunt of it, it isn’t helpful.
