I know what you mean

Practicing in what is basically a cave. It’s also one of those sports where you’ve only got yourself to blame - every frame is there to be won if you’re good enough. And that kind of sport bothers me when I’m not good at it, golf is also on the list.

My dad was a good snooker player, still is by most people’s standards, regularly knocks in 30 / 40 breaks, think his highest is 89. I never played enough to get good at it - was ok when playing every week at university but highest break still only 35! More than good enough to whoop those that casually think they’re good at pool (not those that actually are good, mind).
