Thoughts on pre-season....

1) Birmingham clearly don't wish to be in this league and have made a statement of intent by signing Cameron Jerome. So when are we going to do something similar by signing a player who is decent?
2) Clubs have started their transfer business and guess who hasn't? Us. Clearly Worthington is adopting his usual policy where as Paul Sturrock, for example, started his transfer business a month ago
3) We have only been linked with reserve players, although, Elliott Ward would a decent signing
4) Where's the right-winger? Neil Danns is out of contract and we have been linked for him where as Birmingham appear to be making a move for him. Surely a right-winger is a priority and that Worthington should attempt to sign one? I've got to the point whereby I don't care if we sign a bad right-winger, I just want to see one...
5) Worthington wants more loan signings; oh, here we go again... more unsettled players, more crap players and a squad that fails to settle, again
6) Donovan Ricketts sounds decent and Gallacher is obviously on his way if we sign him. Personally, Gallacher should be released for the benefit of his career.
7) We haven't been linked with any ancient journeymen yet, which is a major plus.
8) The financial situation is bugging me:
A) this club has money available from the Ashton transfer, why is Worthington going to be given it? he needs it.
B) The purse strings have to be opened for the long term future of the club or Delia and the board can have their wish of repeating what we did until we were promoted
C) Prudence with ambition was acceptable after the Chase era given the circumstances, but surely they wish to build on our success? obviously not, hence we still have Worthington in charge and because we've been linked with Clive Clarkes.

10) Worthington is maintaining his recent reputation as a prat.
11) When are the home friendlies going to be announced?
12) We haven't heard any patronising crap from the Carrow Road propaganda department; it's nice to have the summer off!
