no you don't understand

they have a machine that gives you a ticket that is not needed

they have pay machines that are also not needed but you "have" to queue up at them to validate and pay for your ticket

none of it (the machines) is needed and there are about i dunno 12 machines all totally unecessary.

just drive in, park up, drive out, waggle your bak card at the anpr machine job done. dunno how much this machines cost and the waste of paper printing pointless ticket could be put to better use.

or maybe, maybe its a trick to get people to exceed the 30 mins and then get stiffed with a £3.40 ticket 🤔
