Transfer Targets

Like any Norwich fan, I have been keeping an eye on the press/Internet for news of any likely signings. Unsurprisingly, Worthy has done his usual job of sitting on his hands again in the early part of the summer whilst other teams beging to strengthen.

The players we have been linked with are the usual batch of reserves who can only sporadically get into their respective first teams before disappearing onto the obscurity of the second string once again. The two West Ham targets appear to be third or fourth choice which might explain their availability. So far, I haven't seen us connected with anyone who would be likely to cost us more than ?250K.

There are a number of ways of looking at this but here are just two: A. The club has very little money. B. The club has got money but is only allowing the manager a small transfer budget. Draw what conclusions you will from that.
