Macron recently promised on TV a 100 euro state cheque so poor people could buy

"fresh fruit and vegetables".

That got cancelled today.

The Prime Minister resigned a couple of hours ago and he is going to appoint a 34 year old loyalist.

I have never been more pessimistic about this place.
