Also, as much as he has been a bit of a t**t at times, I have to say fair play to Beckham. He knows he is no Einstein, and after the infamous red card, seems to have made the wise choice of hiring very good management around him.
There is the odd mistake, like Rebecca Loos and supporting the Qatar World Cup, but in general he (or rather those who manage him) have just made very good choices. And regardless of how good or not we think he was as a footballer he was never one we could accuse of not putting in the shift or not caring about a result.
