City column in the EEN. Well, he did a biography on Shane Macgowen and attended the funeral. I told him that the only time I saw the Pogues was at the UEA in the ‘80s and they kept being served Guinness on stage. Macgowen kept bashing his head with the drinks tray, in time to the music. At the funeral they brought out an old bashed up tray from one of his gigs!
