Take Michael Johnson, former 400 metre world champion

A brilliant pundit who had been there and won Olympic gold medals and set world records at 200 m and 400 m events. He added considerable value because he knows what it takes to achieve those goals. And what failure looks like too. Just having some random person spout off guff who has never achieved that well never be as good as the one who has done it, and can articulate it.

Hinchcliffe may well be a rubbish pundit. Because he can't articulate well enough. I haven't heard him recently.
