Of a shame.
He's got all the skills to be an effective attacking midfielder across any of those positions, but seems to be most effective played off the shoulder of a stiepy like number 10.
Stiepermann was both our secret weapon in the first promotion season and our biggest miss (through illness) the following year. Made those around him tick (vrancic similar, but less wildcardy).
Todd's rate of improvement through that period was spectacular. I don't think he's hit his potential plateau, but possibly hit his actual one.
Never been good enough to justify building a side around, and not flexible enough to be effective in different systems.
Obviously had his daemons, and I still hope it all comes good for him, but it'd be good if he went back to doing whatever it was he did in the summers before and after the first promotion year. His rate of improvement then couldn't have been without real drive, effort and focus.
