I think McLean is a good player

But that’s not the role he should be playing. If we’re going to play with someone in that deep role, they need to have incredible passing range - personally I’d say nunez is better at it.

It’s not a slight on Kenny, that’s just now what he is. He’s an attacking midfielder.

I agree too an extent on sacking Wagner, but will his tactics ever work? I don’t think we should sack him with a view to instant improvement, but perhaps we should because long term, he’s not the man for the job. I guess the time for that is the end of the season rather than now.

Today, I just couldn’t fathom why we moved away from having Kenny at CB and Nunez in the deep midfield role - to me, that had been a big improvement, in combination with sainz coming into the side. I’m not really sure what Wagner was thinking with that change - Millwall aren’t an overly physical side bombarding with long balls these days really, are they?
