Never had trouble there. Tbf always drank near London Bridge then went down, wouldn’t want to drink round there on a match day even if not in colours. Always had a good time, often a banging atmos on the train platform back into London after. Popo keep you well segregated of course. Many other places felt more likely something would kick off, I never really felt that at Millwall despite the reputation. Saying that not surprised re the sharpened coin anecdote on this thread, a few places would do similar at one time.
