My contents has just come through for renewal

They bumped it 50%
Called and got it down to 25% bump

On meerkats I got 30% less than last year's premium, with higher cover.

One element missing is the included travel insurance, which they no longer offer new customers, so I suspect they are trying to price me out of the policy so they don't have to offer the legacy agreement.

Turns out I have a bank account that offers travel insurance, so will ditch the current insurers and go with the meerkat offer.
