Whilst the odd price hike might be justified, there is some serious profiteering going on by the insurance companies and brokers here. Been told off the record by someone who works in the industry the excuse is to bump up profits after the lean Covid years. Just ask for justification and when all else fails threaten to take your business elsewhere.
