The Summer Situation

Well, with Greeno's injury i feel we are going to be posed with a few problems. Will he agree to the extra year option, will anyone come in for him when hes back fit, what will Gallachers next move be?

Along with many others i continue to be thoroughly frustrated by the clubs transfer policy. If we were a big Prem club i could understand transfer moves being shrouded in secrecy, but with the budget we are going to have now, were are not in the market for players that will worry other clubs in the top half of the division (as much as it pains me to say it), and i will more than suprised to see some big names coming in.

I am increasingly concerned at the 'progress' the club is now making, and as it is still early days in the Summer months, there is still time.

But it is two Worthy quotes that STILL get to me intensely: " Judge me on the team i build and not the one i inherit", and "Not much is going on yet (with regards to transfers), most people, as am i, are on holiday and not much business is being done.

A frankly frightening view on modern football business!!!!

I remain (for my sins) a 'Keep the Faither', and i continue to scratch my head in a Laurel & Hardy style at the thought of the fate of our beloved club.
