The ball simply wouldn't go past him; If he didn't catch it, it came off his legs, chest, face, arse, you name it. He was absolutely on fire, and mentally he was flying.
In the Premier League, he was up against top-class players but without a whole lot in front of him...Doherty and Drury were an absolutely shocking combination, Holt was dying on his feet...but Greeno still came up with the goods time after time. Norwich v Tottenham at the start of the season, Greeno was f**king astonishing. That's what he can do, and that's why he is in the England squad.
Last season, the shower of s**t in front of him hung him out to dry so many times it simply wasn't true. If it wasn't the defence backing off to the 6-yard box, it was Jarrett or Twohooves being weaker than my grandmother's tea in the challenge, or a beautiful defence-splitting f**kup from Hooves. Too often he was left standing there saying "For f**k's sake guys, what was that?!". Also, luck seemed to have deserted him; he could make a good save (And they often were good saves, showing good technique and very strong wrists), but instead of falling to a Yellow shirt to be cleared, they were falling to the opposition.
IMO, he's a very good keeper in a poor team, who hasn't had a lot of luck recently. Stick him behind a decent back 4 and get his confidence up and he'll push Robinson all the way.
