Interestingly.....(h aterz please don't read)

The device (answer to the question) uses both 6063 (because part of the device needs to be bent/shaped) and 7075 for another part that has to be machined and has more wear and tear. (it often gets turned several times a day depending on the user)

In the regular model the main piece is made from stainless steel and the 7075 component fits into it.
The two are colo(u)r matched by anodizing the 7075 part and applying a weak dye to make the surface look like stainless steel. (yes you can make AL look exactly like stainless!) Something I came up with independently.
