It will be like Everton, a "punishment" with no real impact

Whole system badly needs reform and the FFP stuff in particular but given that the people in charge of lookng at what that reform might be are also the people who would be regulated by it the chances of anything meaningful happening are approximately zero. I know there's a new "football regulator" reporting into DCMS but expect the impact of that on the fundamental economic forces at play to be precisely zero. Too many vested interests.
