I'm so old school that I don't think they accompany any roast (oo er) other than beef

I don't mind the repurposing of them as vessels for stews etc, or carriers of sausages, but for a roast dinner, they DO NOT GO on the same plate as things that had feathers, or trotters, or gambolled.
