A year ago we were 4th, 6 points of the automatic places

Dean Smith was sacked on 28/12. There was so much bad feeling around him, but was it really deserved? I'm not sure.

Anyway, the main point of posting this was that at the same time Sunderland were 12th, Boro were 13th, Luton were 14th and Coventry were 15th. Between 4 and 5 points off the play offs.

In other words, there's a long way to go. That includes for our friends down the road, who I would say are nailed the playoffs at least, but a couple of injuries could derail their season, just like it has ours.
