I had AF surgery back in April

Amazing thing really. Small hole in my leg and they thread all the things up the blood vessels through one chamber of the heart into the other and zap what needs zapping. Main risk from surgery is actually the hole in the leg! Main risk from AF is stroke not heart attack though there is some comorbidity with later infarction. It was a stroke which finished my Dad off (he was v late stage vascular dementia at the time) so I was anxious about that part. But my heart rhythm is just fine now - obviously I’m neither young nor a top tier athlete but it’s entirely possible the issue he had yesterday wasn’t related to the AF, though it might have been.
