Relieved to read this as I was offered a free ticket for tonight but cba

(as I'd mentioned this afternoon my head was already onto the weekend, big game player, see, love a fight)

partner was offered a couple of freebies that had been dished out at work. two singles, at least one of which was an obscured view so probably tucked in one of the corner infills.

i'd been up for going a couple of weeks back when i got in touch with my old mate, but he couldn't find cover for his night shift. we've done plenty of norwich-sheff weds home & away together over the years, but without him the prospect of schlepping down there in the cold & dark on my own (my partner was likely to stay at home with the dog in the warm) to then watch a before-the-lord-mayor's show of a game between two poor(ly performing) teams was not the attraction the board still think it is. call me Mr 20% if you like, old girl.

i listened on the radio instead, but didn't even have the wrath open during the game.

ah well, i still give a massive f**k about the next one though...and i'm no bedwetter either, i've been looking forward to this since they were confirmed as up
