Aarons, Byram, Cantwell, Dowell, Idah, Krul, McGovern, McLean, Mumba, Omobamidele, Rowe, Rupp, Sorensen, Springett, Zimmermann

About half our squad were either Academy recruits or cast-offs / gimmes. And, of those, only Aarons, Krul & McLean (IMO) deserved to be paid higher than the London-rate.

It is clear that a) the likes of Gilmour & Kabak & Normann cost far more than they were worth and b) the club always succumbs to overpaying, despite clear warnings that is is unsustainable.
