A second important turning point was not allowing Smith to have a more significant reset in the summer of 22/23. He basically still had to work with an unbalanced, demotivated Farke squad. Pukki should have been allowed to leave amongst several others, and he should have been allowed to bring in his own players at that point. I'm pretty sure he would have had more joy had been able to.
