Why did we abandon 4321 and build a 433 around the hugely unproven Billy G?

Farke had tweaked his tactics that promotion season to make us a bit more solid then completely abandoned it. It has never been explained publicly as far as I am aware but it must have been a Farke or Farke / Webber decision.

Things have slowly been unravelling ever since, and have yet to stop unravelling.
