If its so close that a decision can't be made in a reasonable time then the decision on the field stands.

After listening to the released communications of the recent incident they f**ked up its clear they don't even have a basic process in place to stop the game to get the decisions right.
IMHO the technology is there yet the people overseeing and running it are doing a terrible job.

TLDR: People are s**t.
