Watford is a game we'd be looking to win in an auto season

I mean we're very much not out of touch with playoffs and will likely remain so most of the season, just have to hope Sarge coming back and the CBs sorting their s**t out a bit gets us in towards the end. I'd quite like another Wembley Day Out in all truth.

We did look so very poor Saturday, I can only hope Hendrikus has it right that after poor and before good you need a stage of mediocre - but Sat was a truly grim game despite the result. A few signs in what Barnes did and at the back that some things are changing the right way but still and all I find it hard to disagree with Norway's assessment of "rancid" as a spectacle for the paying public.

Point tomorrow night is, sadly, a good result given where we are just now. They'll be much less forgiving than QPR were and we will concede, we need to score at least twice I think.
