We stayed in the '2nd best hotel in Bulgaria' in Borovets in 1998

They had TVs throughout the public areas playing cartoons. At precisely 9 pm each night they started playing soft-core porn.

The bathroom in our room (on the 4th floor) had a sizeable gap between the bath and the wall where water flowed every time you took a shower. God knows where it was going.

We had a 'New Year Feast' which consisted of 12 courses (each disgusting/memorable in it's own way) including a slice of deep friend frog that was in the exact shape of a frog, with all 4 legs.

I also went into anaphylactic shock after eating something there.

Hence, Bulgaria is a hard no for me Clive.
