The country is changing...

...Definitely not for the better, but the inescapable fact is that as time wears on, there are fewer and fewer people in the UK who were either involved themselves in the Wars, or even have a living relative (grandad etc) who were either. Whilst this does in no way excuse lack of respect, it does explain why a larger percentage of the population nowdays feel disconnected from things like Remembrance day .
