It was an emotional day at Lotus Training Centre today as we said farewell to Stuart Webber, our Sporting Director for the past 6 and a half years. This message a typically classy gesture from a top class man.

Stu leaves a lasting legacy at Norwich City: not least the two Championship titles, two Premier League campaigns, a revolutionised training facility that’s now one of the best in the country, a new data and innovation team, a scouting network in South America, to name but a few.

But on top of all of the headline achievements his truest accomplishments are the culture he’s created and the extraordinary leadership he’s given to so many. Anyone that’s had the privilege of working with him will attest that there is no one that works harder, is more driven or dedicated.
But even more so, there’s no one that cares more about the players, the coaches, the staff. In spite of the enormous pressure faced by the role, Stuart has always treated every single staff member with equal respect and he genuinely cares about everyone.

It’s been a true privilege for us all to have worked with him.
