This reflects one of the most fundamental problems with UK politics

So many of the politicians don't actually give a s**t about doing the job they are supposed to be doing. So much infighting, plotting and putting personal interests first.

Notable that the only area where things have improved in the last years is school standards and that has had mostly the same minister (Nick Gibbs) who clearly cared about what he was doing.
