Did the drop off in form occur when Webber annouced his departure and Knapper to take over

Feels like the morale might have dropped in the squad once that was confirmed. Certainly true that Webber would've been a big presence around the place and there would've been a loyalty to him for players he had given contracts to and signed in the summer. Also he was Wagner's mate so players would've known the manager was in trouble if a new direction was being looked at by the new Sporting Director.

Really feels like all these changes should've been done in the summer so there was a clear approach to the season ahead. Timing was all wrong from the board. It's left the season in a mess
