This season has been full of such contrast. It wasn't long ago we beat Huddersfield 0-4 away and smashed Millwall to bits at home in 45 minutes !! The atmosphere was rocking, unified and excited.
The Barclay was as noisy as EVER!
Even then though (before the injuries) City would play well one week and then badly the next. That dreadful away game at Rotherham was followed by a convincing home win against Stoke for example.
OK maybe that wasn't good enough... but City WERE in with a decent chance of the top six - Which in a transitional period of the clubs history maybe WAS good enough ?
October has been a terrible month but that has been because of the injuries. Good things WERE happening before Sarge and Barnes got sidelined.
Wouldn't it be crap if sacking David Wagner actually contributed to further collapse.
